About SBS Dance

Since 1991, Step by Step School of Dance (SBS Dance) has offered quality dance training, in a professional atmosphere, with caring and certified teachers. Currently lead by Artistic Director and Owner, Miss Becky Nootenboom – SBS’s mission is to provide a fun, friendly and safe atmosphere, to achieve excellence in dance training, while developing the skills of cooperation, teamwork, self-motivation, confidence and discipline that are so important throughout life.

SBS Dance offers dance classes in: Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Lyrical/Contemporary, Acro, as well as Pre-School (Starz) and Adult Classes.

Our full year Recreational Program runs from September through May, with a year end Recital at the beginning of June. Starz Programs and Adult Classes run in 8 week sessions.

SBS Dance has award winning Part Time Competitive and Full Time Competitive Teams, travelling throughout Ontario & the US to showcase their routines. Each season, our dancers are awarded special awards & scholarships, while our Director and Choreographers are recognized for their creative choreography!
